Reentry & Justice Services

COPS provides dedicated forensic peer support and reentry services for justice-involved individuals.

  • Peer support delivered inside Deschutes County Adult Jail (via attorney rooms, video, and phone) with plans for expanded in-person access

  • Individualized release planning, court navigation, and warm handoffs to residential, vocational, and SUD services

  • Post-release wrap-around support including transportation, PO/court attendance, housing placement, and sustained recovery maintenance

  • Collaboration with Parole & Probation, Pre-Trial Services, and the Deflection Program

We have submitted a formal proposal to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office for expanded on-site rehabilitative programming and are actively pursuing a joint BJA Second Chance Act grant partnership to further strengthen reentry outcomes and reduce recidivism.
