About Central Oregon Peer Services Foundation (COPS)

Central Oregon Peer Services Foundation (COPS) exists to help people help people.

We meet individuals where they are — whether incarcerated, in active addiction, on the streets, in treatment, or early in recovery — and support their self-determined path to long-term success through certified peer support, structured residential programming, vocational training, and faith-centered community.

Founded by Josh Brown, COPS is grounded in lived experience and the belief that people in recovery make the strongest helpers for others. All of our staff and interns are in long-term recovery and are committed to walking alongside those who are ready for change.

Our central hub is The Farm, a nine-acre rural property just east of Bend, where peer support, residential care, vocational training, and SUD treatment are integrated under one roof. Through our programs — including The Rest Stop, W.O.R.C., and onsite SUD services — we provide practical, compassionate support that builds discipline, community, and purpose.
